Star Trek Voyager

I think I am done messing around with the Mega Man series. After playing through the X series, I just fail to see any more appreciation in proceeding with Zero series or Star Force series... whatever it is. I even put in the effort to play the Battle Network game for an hour. It was really boring!

Instead I decided to watch Star Trek: Voyager. Instead of reviewing every episode like I did with Star Wars: Clone Wars, I decided to pick out only the best episodes. They must follow GIF! (1) Great Episode with minimum inconsistencies from a writing perspective (2) Interesting Episode that has some theme or moral dilemma intertwined within (3) Fun Episode that invokes some sort of reaction from the audience.

Not touching the core episodes that drastically change Voyager between seasons, these are the episodes that I like:

Season 1-3 (Kes Age)
"Faces" - B'Elanna episode being split into Human and Klingon beings.
"The 37s" - Story about Amelia Earhart.
"Projections" - Fans of Barclay know what kind of episode they are getting into here.
"Prototype" - B'Elanna episode discovering androids.
"Dreadnought" - B'Elanna episode discovering an old Cardassian missile.
"Lifesigns" - The Doctor falls in love.
"Flashback" - Tuvok tie-in with Captain Sulu himself in Star Trek VI.
"Future's End (2 Parter)" - Stuck in the past on Earth.
"Real Life" - Doctor Episode emotion rollercoaster that requires some tissues.
"Distant Origin" - Voth scientist finding the link between both civilizations.

Season 4-5 (Seven Age)
"Day of Honor" B'Elanna Dumps the Warp Core in outer space.
"Year of Hell (2 Parter)" - Krenim Time Problem.
"Message in a Bottle" - Dialogue between two EMHs on a stranded ship.
"Living Witness" - Skewed Alien Portrayal of Evil Voyager.
"Hope and Fear" - Quantum Slipstream
"Night" - Scary stuff
"Counterpoint" - Janeway gets stopped by inspector
"Relativity" - Way Too Many Paradoxes and Time Travel

Season 6-7 (Federation Contact)
"Blink of an Eye" - Several Ages of Civilization pass on a planet.
"Muse" - Mockery of Episode Writing.

After Star Trek's first couple season experimentation, the show really picks up right around mid-season 3. Things evolve rather rapidly with Kes leaving in season 3, Seven of Nine appearing alongside the Borg threat in season 4, the introduction of Naomi and the Delta Flyer in season 5, and the airing of multiple guest stars. Then things start to slow down with Federation contact in season 6 and B'Elanna getting pregnant in season 7. Wild Ride indeed.
